Karole, it's actually getting a bit too warm up here... I woke up to 12 (wind chill of 2 above) and it's getting up to 22. Yuck...not cold enough!! It's a bad day for me today...food-wise. I believe the worst part is over, but I wanted to check in cause otherwise I get too far away from you guys and for some reason that seems to be enough of an excuse to keep eating...

Good afternoon everyone! I'm not organized at all today (just like yesterday). Still not feeling perky but at least I know why. How does a person who drinks a gallon of water get kidney stones anyways???? No workout today unless walking around the silly clinic counts I better go clean my kitchen up!

OK, I'll join the ladies and tip a glass or 2. Karole, it's beautiful here also but a 24 degree wind chill doesn't make for good golf. This area seldom has weather like this - must be the nino/nina twins. B= usual shake this time with pump ala Carol. L- burger and small salad D- some kind of chicken per DW Had L with DS yesterday and had an outstanding platter of Carolina pulled pork- it had a thin vinegar/tomato sauce so I...

Finally Friday - December 11 -...
Published (2009-12-11 17:44:00)
Good Afternoon. As I read the posts, I'm inspired by those of you who can look the demons in the eye (so to speak) and resist. Yesterday was good (1630 cal, 31 net carb), and I've made a plan for today, although it's kind of a weak one. Today's plan: B'fast: coffee, half & half, 2 eggs, 3 slices bacon Lunch: shake with pumpkin added, 1 square Lindt 85 Snack: Think Thin bar Dinner: a Christmas party. I plan to...

Those Nina and Nino twins can be a pain, can't they Monty. Hope you get warmer weather soon. Ammy can have allllll the cold stuff she wants....and my share too. Well, it didn't warm up as quickly as predicted so instead of dh golfing we did the carpet cleaning thing--moving furniture and etc. I am tired and am not going anywhere. Sewing on a quilt sounds pretty good to me right now. A nap sounds even better.

Carol- you are either up very early or very late. Weather is what is up here today. All around us is snow and lots of it to the south, north and west less than 20 miles away but we are in a pocket where it is just rain and wind. For that I am grateful. The food plan is slipping a bit because of bread (always my downfall) however, I have maintained a less than 40 ecc carb intake. Thank God I ...

Friday 12/18/09 Morning Carol, when I go to holiday outings I will generally get involved with whatever nonfood activities that are available. Several of the activities are based around seasonal holiday music. Many of the relatives take the musical instrument they play. Hard to eat when you're playing a guitar for several hours. I did my usual exercises before breakfast. Not ...
