bad idea man...performing box squats like that is very compressive on the spine . west side does this (correct me if im wrong but i believe they do) and they are strong as hell...but i would be more concerned about health long term. why are you doing box squats? out of curiousity...maybe there is a better option for you. depth? explosion? a little more info would be helpful!

Hey guys. I'm fairly new to the PM board. I've been lifting for 4 years now. Started powerlifting 2 years into it at age 16. 345 240 405 at 148(raw obviously). Then I got into strongman which is what I'm training for right now. I thought I could keep a log on here and get some advice from you guys. I feel confused about my training sometimes. It's like if I train for a competition specifically ...

Curious if any of you have done rack deads as well as reverse band deads and what u felt the difference was, how would u rate them and use them in a routine of urs? They seem rather similar to me so any advice would be appreciated

I have been wanting to try wsbb club routine. Due to time conflicts with family/work. Is there any 3day a week westside routines. I was thinking of doing Monday ME / Bench Wed ME / Squat/DL Friday DE / Bench Any info, links to one.? Thank you

hey, just got a quick ? for you. I stall out on military presses today. I could not get the full 5x5. Ive been training hard for the last 3 months on the 5x5 method. When I got under the weight for the military press today. The weight full super heavy. It was only 5 lbs more then last workout. Im just wondering. Got a quick question for you. Im gonna start doing floor presses today and I was just wondering. When my arms touch the ground. Do I relax them/pause and then lift back up. Or is this just touch and go?
