25 years ago today I lost my little boy Derek. For some reason, this year, its hitting me hard. I guess I will never really get over it. I wonder what he would have been like as a young man. I will never know. I wish I could have traded places with him that day and given him life, but I couldn't. I wish life was fair, but its not. I have accepted that.

Some bad news from Home. It is my uncle, my mom just emailed me to say he is in hospital in intensive care with Pneumonia and Leukemia. They cannot treat the Luekemia without clearing up,the pneumonia. They (my relatives) were all getting together in early sept for a big family reunion too. She tells me he is getting a bit better but it is still very tight. It is a race against time now!...

Hi, I am about to start seeing a counselor for depression/stress related issue that I have been battling for a while. HOw many have experience with anti depressants? Did they work?? Were there any negative side effects in terms of bbing, such as holding more water, slower recovery etc.??
