1.) Bad clutch master cylinder 2.) bad clutch line (expanding) 3.) improperly installed/torqued pressure plate 4.) "Remanufactured" clutch disc which are almost always too thick My bet is on #1 or #3... not in that order. The garage shouldn't be charging you anything if they didn't fix or diagnose the problem. My tach was doing the same thing a couple months ago, I made sure the connections on the distributor were clean and tight and never did it again.

check on the floor inside the car as well, under the master cylinder. i was thinking it might need bled some more, but if it just started doing this then i doubt that is the issue... on a PSE i did an ATX>MTX swap on, the master cylinder we originally used was bad and did not leak.

93-94 2.5 liter oem distributors have a very high failure rate (of the internal ignition control module)..to verify a bad module wiggle the 6 pin plug at the disty while the engine is running..if the engine stalls out while you wiggle that plug then the module is bad...most reman. distributors are just used oem distributors!!!..only Mazda rebuilt distributors use new revised parts in their ...

the oil pressure and the 2.0L tach are the only 2 I know of. The 2.0L tach will read 1.5 times more than where it should be.

did you end up using the KLG4 throttle body or did you switch to a KLDE/curve neck unit? That is, if you kept the MX6 ECU in the car......the KLG4 TPS isn't really compatible with the MX6 ECU since it's non-adjustable.

Miss6, Congrats on that 93 PGT. I saw your thread about the 94PGT that fell through. For spark plugs, NGK V Power plugs seem to be what everyone (myself included) uses with great results.

It leaks where the shift linkage goes into the tranny...I know ford doesnt make the seal anymore...dont know about mazda tho?

You need to push HARD, to hell with gently. You'll probably need to smack it with a hammer to get the circlip to lock in place.
