You are correct Auto X/Road Course God. So I was checking our Willow Springs---looks like a very cool place--closer than Button Willow---should we hit it before June?

I'm into the booze deeper than I've been in a while. I've got plenty of space out back but I want lock to lock for racing with no rubs under full load. I have that now with 275's. I could slam it and not rub on the street but that's not my goal. Your car looks killer but it's going to kill you on a road course or fast autocross.

Yeah , it wasnt as hard as I thought it would be. truth be told the only cutting on the car was for the shfter.and that was bout a 2"x 1" piece. i GrannySpeed makes a kit now for the rx-7. Had to have custom headers made. other than that very cool swap. I also have a guy in my car club that does have an ls2 swapped fd . just hit Pittspeed.com and do a search there is a build thread. if you need any help.

I got my stereo in it and the headers on now. I will be taking it all back apart in the next few months though, to put in a new motor and then do the interior.

whats your plans with it? Drag race, auto X , or just a cruiser? Drag racing, use a lower gear. Depends on how power you have. auto Xing, something mid 3 series and cruising the streets daily driver, 3.50-3.73-3.90-4.11 are acceptable with the 6 speed. Just idea's. Other people can chime in with their idea's. A lot has to do with tq and hp.

You don't really need any fancy lifting equipment to get the body off the frame. What you need are some of the tall threaded stands they use to hold mobile home frames up while the foundations are being built. Some older homes may still have them under the rails. Move the car to a location where you can leave the body sitting and jack it up with jackstands under the frame. Your front ...

I am amazed at the craftsmanship I have seen here. I hope I can learn enough from this to make my next car a great one. I have a small issue I want to ask you all about. I keep finding cars that I want to buy for my project but several of them have no titles. What are your opinions regarding this? Is it worth it to take a chance and go for an abandoned title or should I just pass. I just found...
