Tobin, Great information and much apprectiated. So it sounds like the C4 setup would have less chance of wheel interferance with the deeper rotors. Now I understand the purpose of the Hybrid kits. I know the C5 has more friction area but I would like to better understand the dimensions between the C4 and C5 calipers. With a C5 caliper on a C4 rotor does the C5 caliper sit higher or is it wider then the C4? Also is there such a thing as a...

I can tell you that the car brakes really well now, I've done a few panic stops to see what the car will do and it does not easily lock up, its just stops, it brakes super hard. I tried it in the rain and it still performed really well, no need for a proportioning valve. I have 225s in the front and 275s in the rear, plus they are high performance Toyo tires which means they stick really well...Im sure that helps too, as the car used to...

You can make 4-wheel discs work well in manual, vacuum boosted and hydro-boost configurations. While manual gives the most feedback and control, it also takes the most actuation effort, making it less suitable to higher mileage daily driving type of applications for some people. That said, manual systems tend to be the simplest, lightest and least expensive option of the three. Before you ...

Well in drum brakes you need a 10 psi check in back brakes, and make sure the brake shoes are adjusted up so you have 2 hand no strain drag against the drums, too loose drum brakes will grab bad. And if your doing brakes an adjustable prop valve is best way to do brakes, then you simply make it stop , if the backs lock, take out/put in 1/4 to 1/2 turn at a time till car stops good. There should ...

If it's a street car, go with power brakes. Personally I don't like to feel of hydroboost setups, I prefer vacuum. But then again, I prefer manual over anything else - but I know most would rather have power brakes for the street.
