Hi there, I've been suffering with the pain of fibromyalgia for years. I was diagnosed by a neurologist shortly after the birth of my youngest son who's soon to be 8 years old...In addition to the constant pain from the fibro, my L1-L7 discs are in bad shape (the back/tailbone pain is horrible). My question is this, is there anyone here who may know of a decent pain mgmt. doctor in ...

I know this is long but please read and let me know what you suggest. I got two authorizations earlier in the summer for me to sign. They were both because my old rheumy wanted me to see a psychiatrist saying I had uncontrolled post partum depression (also seconded by my primary, the dr not the phys asst). I discussed them with my psych and decided to send only the one that releases the ...

I tried some AS recently, one tablet couple times and in one way i thought it improved how I felt but then I also felt dizzy after awhile. any idea wht that was about? I am also not sure about that amount of aspirin in ...

Hello Everyone, Finally, I received a fully favorable decision. I received the letter in the mail today and it was a thick envelope. I'm so happy and so thankful that I found this board in 2006, with sooooooo many nice, helpful, wonderful, people here. I know I could not have done it without you all. When I asked a question, I always received an answer. I knew absolutely ...

Hi everyone! My name is Crystal. It's been a while since I was on this board. About a year ago I tried guaifenesin for a few months. I was feeling so crappy, as I know you are supposed to, but I gave up because at that time I found Lyrica and it has helped tremendously. I'm thinking of trying it again because I've seen that so many people have had success on it. I was wondering if ...

Hello, I'm new to the board and new to CFS. I only have my primary care Doc right now but I'm looking for a good specialist in the Tucson Arizona area. My Doc is not too up to date about CFS, but will definetly refer me. If anyone from Tucson can recommend it would be deeply appreciated. Thanks.

I know exactly what you are going thru because I have been there. This is a post I just recently put up to someone else. Like many of us here, I work full time also and even though some days are not peachy keen and I have to push through, I do manage even though I have no energy to do anything when I get home some days, but I have not even missed a day because of FM in a very long time. ...

i am really confused. Some get tested need more. i live in South ga. Do i need to get tested. When you have a blood test for a physical is this automatically checked? Where did all this come from. I am not a dr. or nurse anything close. I don remember when my mother died of cancer of the lungs. She had a mass in her liver. I remember after looking at the oncologist report and her ...

I honestly think if I could get rid of my sinus problems my darn DD would be so much better. I am never sure if its the sinus or the DD. I have seen an ENT, he says sinus infection (doesn't believe in CFS) keeps giving me Ceftin which will work for awhile, then after I stop here comes the sinus thing. My GP sinus and CFS and will admit she is confussed as she tries but doesn't ...

Hi Everyone,<BR> Just wanted to know if Cymbalta has helped anyone with the pain? My doc put me on this last week and I have been feeling more tired every since. I feel a little like a zombie. A little more relaxed but if I can't function it will not help. Today it has been a week and I feel a little more energy today than all last week. Does time help? I am only on 30mg for now. ...

I have found Alternaria, Aspergillus, Cladosporium and Penicillium in my basement and Cladosporium in my bathroom. I have a musty smell at times coming through the vents from the basement. Its usually worse on damp, rainy days. I dont know if it is from the mold but it probably is. I am not having any of the typical mold symptoms such as breathing or asthma like issues but I do have alot...

I am still not diagnosed with FM (well, a dr. in VA said it looked like FM but now that I'm in TN and having more neurological symptoms I've been told it doesn't look like FM). Been tested for everything under the sun and I'm trying to understand if it is FM. Wondering what your pain is like. Mine is getting worse everyday. Not like the flu, but stabbing pains in muscles and ...
