I take two anacin,(aspirin) in the a.m. and two at night. I have done so for 20 years. Have no problems with it. I have noticed if I go above four a day I start with a burning gut, so I just back off and the burn goes away in a day or two. Anacin is the only aspirin that cuts my head-aches. Hugs, Dawn

I made a list of everything I've tried for my RA. This was after everything from gold shots (big joke for my husband) through Enbrel. This is totally crazy, and now takes up a whole shelf, even tho I usually only remember to take my fish oil, and the rest collects dust! I am sure there are more things...can you add to my dusty bottle list? Fish oil Borage oil Zyflamend Boswelya ...

Mayo Clinic's site gives a good short answer for SED rate. Sedimentation rate â also referred to as sed rate or erythrocyte sedimentation rate â measures the speed at which red blood cells settle to the bottom of a glass tube. The presence of certain abnormal proteins in the blood can cause red blood cells to stick together and sink to the bottom more quickly. An elevated sed ...

I was diagnosed with Fibro/CFS and asthma 3 yrs ago. I then got diagnosed with RA about 2 yrs ago. I've been on MTX, Medrol and about 5 different asthma meds. When the RA seemed under control, the Fibro would act up, then the asthma. I've gained 60 lbs from the steriods, most of my hair has fallen out and there are days I ask why has this happened to me. I'm a single, overweight, ...

The past three weeks have been a nightmare. I went to my doctors PA and I've finally decided to file for disabilty. I have held high hopes that I'd get "cured" and be able to work again but that unlikely now. I can't use my hand much and walking is very painful. The doctors say that without meds it will continue to progress . But I can't stomach the meds. I'm allergic to a lot of them ....

Hi, I will try not to be graphic, but I suspected that I was bleeding internally this week. I take Celebrex and Methotrexate and both of these meds say to stop taking and see a doctor asap if you develop bleeding. Then I remembered...I've been bumping up my iron intake lately because I am anemic, and ate a large portion of beets two days in a row. It still seemed more like ...

My RD told me I have FM, but he never checked for pressure points. The reason I was sent to him was because my MD. suppected some sort of arthirtis in my hands which has gotten really bad. So bad in fact, I had to quit my job. After reading alot and research, it sounds like I may have RA. My symptoms are as follows: Both hands have swollen joints, hurt and I can't staighten out my ...

Hi Cath! I wanted to check in for an update. Did this week's Enbrel injection better? I hope it didn't make you feel as yucky and REALLY hope that a month is enough time to get some benefit from it. Is your son's testing done? Have they come up with a plan? I hope he has found something he is comfortable with. Even it does mean more surgery, I hope he feels it will get him ...
