Millennium silver body molding on classic silver car? Hi all, I am a new Prius chat member, but I've been lurking since buying my 08 Prius in 2/08.
I've decided I want to add body moldings, and noticed they are on clearance now via this website for $85. However, my color, classic silver, was not listed in the
drop down menu. Instead, millennium silver was available. From my ...

Re: Those small LED looking lights in the middle of the
headlamp?? most likely the warranty would be voided. opening that casing and drilling the spots out... then replacing and wiring-in LED's is the only way... first you have to bake the casing to open it. there is a mod that 1 person has done themselves. if you search you may be able to find it. there's a lot of LED forums out...

Re:
Engine Block heater on a '06 David,
Most commonly the problem is a short in the cord just behind the reinforced area. If you want you can cut off the end of the current cord about 2-3" behind the reinforced area and splice in a new plug. That would be the cheapest and easiest fix.
Otherwise, replacement of the entire assembly will be necessary. The orange connector to ...

Re: excessive
road noise - how to "fix" it? Not special tires, just different ones. The OEM Goodyear Integrities are great for MPGs and dry traction but not so good for noise or snow. People like Nokians, Michelins, GY Assurance FuelMax. There are zillions of posts of discussion. "Search" is your friend :_>

Tint advice please Hi,
I know there are some tint threads already, but many are several years old. I have a 2005
Prius that I'd like to get tinted. A local place is telling me that getting a ceramic tint will cost me about twice as much as regular. He is also recommending using Solar Gard supreme (with a lifetime warranty for $175.)
Thoughts? Recommendations?

Leatherseats.com sale on ebay Leatherseats.com says they're clearing out old GenII seat covers.
Picked up a set of leather seat covers from them for $335, shipped. Maybe could've done better with a lower offer. Anyone else get these? Plan on following the steps outlined here and discussed here (
the Bartlett leather thread).

Does Mileage
Maxx work? My wife and I went to get our car serviced today and were pressured by a salesman to purchase a product called Mileage Maxx Mileage Booster. He told us that it would clean out our engine and increase our gas mileage by quite a bit. It wasn't too expensive, so if it actually works, it would be worth the purchase. Can anyone tell me if they have actually ...
