If you want you can cut off the end of the current cord about 2-3" behind the reinforced area and splice in a new plug. That would be the cheapest and easiest fix. Re: excessive road noise - how to "fix" it? Not special tires, just different ones. The OEM Goodyear Integrities are great for MPGs and dry traction but not so good for noise or snow. Leatherseats.com sale on ebay Leatherseats.com says they're clearing out old GenII seat covers. Picked up a set of leather seat covers from them for $335, shipped.
