as many fellow prii owners would agree, the jbl audio system can be disappointing for most audiophiles. it quickly became a fun project to tackle. an audiocontrol lc7 converted the rear speaker line outputs from factory amplifier & provided internal signal summing. the factory amp's left speaker output was re-wired to the center speaker - so voice for bluetooth comes from the center... now ...

Hello. When listening to satellite radio, the left channel is very weak while the right channel is seemingly normal. Obviously, this results in an imbalanced and less pleasant listening experience. This problem does not occur when listening to other sources like FM or CD. Any ideas? Thanks for looking. I hope someone can help! Cheers. (06 Prius with Nav)

I have a Droid and a 2008 Prius (Pkg 3) I just completed the system updte for the Droid (Dec 10, 2009) and was expecting to be able to trnsfer/updte the phonebook in the car. There is no method on the Droid to initiate the transfer. Anyone found a fix?

Is the audio system type an ISO connector or a Line In connector? I'm installing the Parrot MKi9100 into my 2005 Prius (non nav/sat). Will I need an adapter kit like this: Toyota Wiring Harness ?

My apologies for the newbie question... With my dealer offering to sell on upgraded Nav disc for $300, I am looking for other sources. My question is will a previously owned (used) disc work? Or is it similar to some PC s/w and loadable one time only? Again, sorry for the question but I just want to understand my options. Thanks

I bought a used 2007 Prius with a base radio, thus no AUX and no bluetooth. I want to install an adapter so I can use and charge my iphone I am a newbie and not versed in auto audio lingo. I've heard a few negative reviews on the Toyota adapter but am not sure I understand why. I don't want to lose my flat floor, so I'm looking for a clever place to install a small sub or two to boost the low-low end of the JBL on my '05. Has anyone tried locating them in the hatch door? Is there room for maybe a pair of 5-6" subs? They could stick out a bit with a frame and grille. Is the plastic hatch cover strong enough to take slamming with the added weight? Is there a frame ...
