I had three checks on my own account that bounced and I couldn't pay so I failed to appear, so I have to misdemeanor warrants for my checks and one for failing to appear in another state from where he is. He says they are only looking for felony warrants. What do you think?

No family day, but they have a program they can qualify for that's called Day with Dad, they get to spend the whole day with their kids playing games and eating pizza and drinking cokes. They do it about every 90 days or so and you can't have any tickets on your record or you won't qualify. It's a really good program. They also have a marriage seminar once a month that is three days long.

Well, I do hope you get your visits back. That will give you more time together and more time to decide if you are getting married for all the right reasons and expectations.

Sweetheart, if he can't understand that marriage is far too serious a step to take without careful consideration then I think you need to truly have a few heart to hearts about what marriage means.... NOT about your relationship, but the actual nuts and bolts of marriage because no matter how much two people love each other, being married IS different than just being in a relationship.

Luckily we have access to games and cards and stuff and we usually play cards if there's a lull in the conversation and then go back to talking about stuff, or go out to smoke. Since we don't have to sit in the same place forever and we can do other stuff it's nice because we don't have to concentrate on keeping conversation all the time.

Do not get married until and unless it's because you just cannot imagine doing anything else... and with the visiting question clouding the issue, I'd say wait 6 months to even think about it, let alone start the paperwork... If it's a good idea, it will still be a good idea a little further down the road.
A great many people have regretted making major decisions in haste.
Very few people ...
