Hi, My husband is in a Texas prison and that I know of they have
120 minutes per month. They can use them all in one day, one week, or spead their minutes throughout the month. They give you incriments of 15 minutes but if he has minutes available he can call you right back. Good luck!

you can go to Radio Shack and buy this
tape recorder that you connet to the phone jack and the phone to the tape recorder . It's real simple. I used to do it when he would leave messages for his mom n the kids when they were at school.

I have that same problem. Sometimes it will say that even if I have money. Tell her to call Globel tel link @ 866-230-7761. If its a long wait time they will get her number &
call back. They are really good at calling back.(it may take a while) And just tell them the problem. They always tell me its b/c the system is down. But, after I talked to them it has happend less often. Hope this helps.

Well if they are anyting like DOC they suck!!!!! Jeff had to add my number
to
his calling list when he was at another facility and it took almost a
month. If the department of corruption is anything constant thing they are
so freakin SLOW

Hi, if you want to accept phone calls from someone at a Texas prison then
you can't use
internet phone services like Vonage, the place where you have
to enroll your phone # will not accept it because of it being internet
phone.
