GUESS WHAT EVERYONE! I just received an EMail from JPAY and I made a copy! They have "CONFIRMED" that as of Dec 21, 2009, the money I sent to my friend here in CA on Dec 12, 2009 will be available for her! They also said, "We appreciate your continued business and apologize for the delay in posting." Yet, JPAY gives no explanation why there was this "delay!"

Well I know there was a limit put of $300 in the inmates trust. Not for a month but at any given time it couldn't pass that amount. I believe it was around 2-3 yrs ago or so. It was when they found that members of La Eme in Pelican Bay had thousands of dollars in their trust account and illegal activities and money laundering was happening with family members and CO's. But IF Jpay is the one not letting you send over $100 at a time...

I would guess it would be at a time. I cant see them making a case for limiting how much an inmate has in their account. ok thats not true, but I cant see a reason why they should.

I have a friend that was NOT part of a group of guys trying to 'scare' the victim who had not pay for his drugs...they went to my friend's house with the victim. My friend told the group to leave and as they left with the blindfolded victim...one of the men said my friend's name. The victim told the police one of guys was named.....So he was arrested and told by the court that he would be out in 11 years on an attempted...

Got a phone call from Centinela saying the ONE art instructor will have his last day in February. This was one for the entire prison, all yards so he was spread thin. On the books, everyone who attended this class for one hour once a week (sometimes) was in class most of every week day, guess they think the other hours were for homework... California where incarceration comes before education.

After 3 years of peace it appears U.N.I.O.N. is trying to become active on PTO again, and "B. Cayenne Bird" has now become a "Dr. B. C. Bird", as well as a "Rev. B Cayenne Bird".. It is with great saddness that I feel this thread needs to be brought to life once again, and let me emphasize the POLICY UPDATE listed above.. Those of you with UNION spewing agendas won't be around here long...

5 acres sounds beautiful huh? I'm gonna look up that book Kima because no I haven't read it. I lived in Hawaii straight out of high school (well, I went to the University of Hawaii at Manoa). It was heaven. Not one day went by that I didn't thank God for me being alive. I rented a condo on the first floor of a building. The condo was for sale but no one bought it while I rented because it...

Sorry to burst your bubble but that is not happening. If that was true you would of heard it all over the news. For that to happen it has to be approved by the Leg. and they have not approved anything like that. Besides anyone serving 85% is not a non-violent offender. My SIL is in here and she has not mentioned hearing anything like that to us.
