Just a little tip, if you can get LO dressed in the pool area do it, i found the changing room freezing and plan to get her dressed poolside as its so much warmer, then get myself...

What books do you read to your LO?
Published (2008-11-17 11:54:00)
Green Bean gets read whatever his Big Sister of Doom pretends to read him it really is very sweet! THere's a little seat in between his cot and his BSofD's bed that either DH or I sit on and read one of the BSoD's maaaany random books. She loves anything as long as you let her help read!

awwww i remember the first time kyran got the hiccups when we are still in the hospital!! his little arms would fly up into the sky and he'd do a sort of startled jig every time he hiccupped, so cute! he was jumpy as hell when he was first born, i swear he nearly jumped out of his hospital cot a few times in the early days at the slightest thing! Every was too loud out of mummies tummy!

My bubba is due his second set of jabs tomorrow and DH and i would like to take him swimming for the first time at the weekend. i bought him some little swimmers disposable nappy things but my question is (and forgive me, its prob a stupid one!) do i need to put anything over the top of them, like a pair of trunks or anything? or is he good to go in just the nappy thing?

To cloth nappies that is DH finally found out how much the nappies cost. Went a bit loopy but I managed to get round him by saying he paid the same amount for his new Xbox, and these nappies will save us money in the long run! They hwon't do this however, if I don't stop buying pretty boosters, and washable wipes, and random other nappies to "try out" oopsy! Let's hope he doesn't check ...

I have one! I've been ignoring it because it looked huge when we first got it. The size has been cut out or something... Can anyone help me figure out what size it is? The back of it, along the top unstretched is about 24cm.

Do you ever get that? People who stop you in the street to look at your LO and then say 'Ahhh, isn't he sweet??' I get that sooo much, I don't dress Ella in pink everyday, sometimes she will wear blue but it will have a girly design or flowers on it or something. I know it's an easy mistake but it really winds me up! Even when she does wear pink it happens hehe.
