Hi everyone, I'm starting to get very scatter-brained and a little stuck in a rut. I gave up work recently, and although I'm 'busy' and set to get busier, I don't feel challenged conversationally or mentally in any way. My mum bought me a birthing ball today. Im just wondering if i can use it now? could it help with my bad back? i know some women try to induce labour using a birthing ball is it the sort of thing i shouldnt use until about 37+ weeks? Are they any good? Thanks

Last night i was in a car accident, rushed to A&E thank god everythin was ok with me and baby, On Friday my bubs was "free" and now hes "2/5ths" engaged and on the monitor they huck you up to i was having contractions of 50/60.. they sent me home, and said to come bk if they get stronger etc.. they wernt uncomphy just felt tummy tighten, just wonmdered if i may go into labour anytime soon..?? ...

ok.. so after my car accident on sat night, i was monitored in hosptial and junior decided so show off and i was having contractions, and hes not 2/5ths engaged, from "free on fri" all weekend been having period pains and lower bk ache.. last night i had a bloody discharge.. sorry TMI. and this morning i've just lost part of my plug.. was def plus was HORRIBLE... i know its impossible to say, ...

Hiya, I'm just about to get my hospital bag ready, but haven't a clue what to wear when in labour!!!! T-Shirts are so unflattering (I know I probably won't care, but i think i will!) How many will I need to take? Any recommendations on alternative to t-shirts? What material should I get? Any advise appreciated!!! Thanks.

just looking up checklists etc and it says about dummies. are they an essential? I never had one, my parents never liked the idea of them, but i read somewhere that it can reduce the risk of cotdeath. i would also rather not use one, so are they an essential and how many of you use them/dont use them?

but here goes anyway: How long is your birthing partner actually allowed to stay with you after the birth until they chuck him out of the ward? I had my 6 week check up today at my doctors, i was just wondering what happened at other peoples as mine seemed abit more brief than i thought it was going to be. He did my BP asked if passing urine ok, if constipated, gave me a script for the pill, asked how my appetite is i said its pretty low and he said ok thats normal, then asked if i had any questions which i didnt and that was it really.....
