I prefer the first, it's more gritty and realistic (and seems to refer to part of the country I vaguely know). I suppose the second could always appear later in the same tale, mind.

I know I tend to agree.... even without adding any human material we do generate quite a heap here too!
And with six in the household we would no doubt need a bigger system than the one pictured.
That picture just looked so simple that I thought it was worth posting to inspire (if that is the right word!) folk - and surely once full a bigger family could just expand into more ...

over protective. From 18 to 22 I wanted as little as possible to do with him, simply because I wanted to make my own decisions in life.
I remember him pestering me to get a pension throughout my 20s. That set me against it, and now I know that in his world view he was right, but that a pension ...
