I know I tend to agree.... even without adding any human material we do generate quite a heap here too! And with six in the household we would no doubt need a bigger system than the one pictured. That picture just looked so simple that I thought it was worth posting to inspire (if that is the right word!) folk - and surely once full a bigger family could just expand into more ...

From 18 to 22 I wanted as little as possible to do with him, simply because I wanted to make my own decisions in life. I remember him pestering me to get a pension throughout my 20s. It's a bit skewed. It overestimates oil, underestimates natural gas and hugely under estimates renewables.

Blimey! I eat loads of cucumber slices and have always thought of this habit as a bit of a pointless luxury...now I know better!! We tried to grow our own last year but (having got quite big) all the plants died.
