Yes, perhaps a bit ... maybe the dosage needs increasing? However I like your viewpoint so keep going! _________________ "I am an old man and have known many troubles, but most of them never happened." Mark Twain

To quote a famous American, who had feelings that General Montgomery was perhaps a bit overrated "A good plan violently executed right now is far better than a perfect plan executed next week." Go Patton! And what with the sudden outpouring of this poor country hemorrhaging natural gas ( here comes the Eagleford! )...

I was being ironic... I hope you didn't seriously think I was a Smash Hits reader :O Personally I think there was much fine pop music occurring in the early 80s, but it is undoubtedly partly a generational thing! Don't know if any of you watch Spooks, but the latest episode was pretty gripping regarding a secret meeting at Basle of Asians bankers, hedge fund guys and western intel agencies. My perspective is that while it is obviously a drama, it does capture the volatility of the international scene.

Here, my very limited knowledge of the cycle to work scheme is that most interest in it came from current cyclists who wondered if they could get a new bike on the cheap (I sort of fell into this category, though in my case, my then current bike, which was already a pain, had developed another expensive to fix condition, so it provided me with an opportunity to more cheaply get a new bike)....

I haven't voted in the poll, but "yes" perhaps a bit of care in wording posts would be an improvement.
You see, just as the outcome of peak oil is not a single certain outcome - so also the people on this forum do not have a single certain view that can be debunked.

Its a holiday, I'm working from home, so I can actually listen to some of these things.
To paraphrase pieces:
"Our culture is rooted in denial."
Where is this person from? I certainly haven't seen anyone denying much of anything beyond the normal conflict between reality and religious belief, be it Catholicism or Peak Oil.
