it makes sense to have it commandline so we can choose and test the beta version of 7zip from within powerarchiver. Means a lot less work for you and gives you more time to add other features. waiting for something to become final leaves you behind the competitors who have a command line 7zip add in

I am writing an blog entry where you will be able to select what format you want next to be added in PA. Need a list of suggestions to be added. Some suggested so far are: - 7zip LZMA2 - ISO (UDF, not supported now) - MSI - EPUB (variant of zip format for publishing books) .... more? Add your suggestions as soon as you can. We will make an blog post about it and you will ...

i really dont understand why would you put this into the "what should be next format" in PA thread... this is why we have complete forum section for wishes - so not everything would be together in one post. and you might want to explorer some of the skins, they already have different icons included... it is a bit of work, but it might be worthwile, up to you ;-)

You can pull it out of submenu by editing the option. On a related note, the window that pops out after selecting "extract to.." is resizable, but the size is not remembered. This should be remembered. The same window can be launched from the PowerArchiver menu. The size of this window is remembered.

Currently PA writes empty archive extensions not associated with PA in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. I wish that there were some way to prevent this. In other words, I wish that only those extensions specified by the user were written. One of the reasons is that those registry cleaning programs constantly find those empty extensions.
