A friend with a site is looking into hosting here. He currently keeps his site updated with FrontPage. (I don't know what his current server configuration is.) I am assuming that he will be able to edit pages and send them via FTP without the FrontPage Extensions installed... That is, just because he uses FP at his home/business computer doesn't mean he needs to have the FP extensions ...

It's not unusual for Windows Media files and ActiveX controls to not work in non-Microsoft browsers such as Firefox. For universal playability, the better choice is Flash or QuickTime.
