If you only have a few products, a small budget, little e-commerce experience and limited time, you may want to use the PayPal Add to Cart buttons that go to the PayPal shopping cart. If you want to keep track of inventory, you may want to install OScommerce, ZenCart or Magento. They require more time to learn, the shopping cart is on YOUR server, you can use different payment options besides PayPal, you must maintain your website and database...

CubeCart Email Problems

Hi, I have had CubeCart for about 6 months and it has worked fine until recently. I stopped getting emails when a new order was received and at the same time I could not email the customer back after I changed the status to processing. Also, when I go to look at the orders, instead of being listed on one line, they are wrapping around because the date/time column has suddenly been shorten. Any suggestions?

Do you have the database local or are you trying to connect to a powweb DB. If its a powweb DB, you can't...they don't allow remote mysql connections.

Hey Guys, My first post on the site so let me say hi ! I'm after a bit of advice on starting up a internet shop. Basically i don't have a clue where to start so need major help so please bare with me and possibly my stupid questions. A friend & me are setting up a small part time internet shop, selling kite parts. We are wanting a very basic , easy to use / navigate shopping site, we are only going to be selling a few items...

oscommerce admin panel is not working in my localhost: i have a site using oscommerce which is working fine on the server i downloaded it from my server to my localhost its admin panel is not working in localhost(i made proper changes also for configure files to work on local)i dont know what is happening with the local folder.
