Obama is Clueless Again!!
Published (2009-11-08 14:39:00)
In all fairness to Bush, the Columbine massacre was in 1999 before he even ran for the presidency. And...I vaguely remember him making a statement about Virginia Tech that day. He also went to some type of service the next day or the day after that.

An additional item from NewsWeek about the "republican alternative" listed near the bottom of your article where they are discussing the difference between the 2010 midterms and those in '94 following the Clinton health care reform effort. ? Also diminishing health care's electoral potency will be the shellacking the Republican alternative plan received from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) last night. Ezra Klein has...

What it means to be a liberal

FWIW, TOS enforcement has always been unpredictable. I gave up trying to understand it about a year ago when enforcement turned even more heavy-handed. "Board disruption" became a sort of catch-all rationale to pull posts and issue warnings for anything that looked "disruptive" to the powers-that-be. Kinda funny, though. I received a warning for a post made to you quite awhile ago. Don't even really...

While I won't be able to respond to all of your posts, I'm going to start answering some again :) ~I criticized Clinton for signing the DOMA.~ I've done that, too, and it's one of the reasons why I dislike him. ~I asked what the democrats action plans were to get the DOMA undone~ I've complained about the delay elsewhere on iv, though I remain hopeful. ~Oh well.~ IMHO, if someone's commitment to anything can be...

Actually, in looking over the bill...It looks pretty good. At first glance the 5.4% tax on people making 500k & 1 million respectively was a bit much, then I thought about it. A single person making 500k per year can afford 27k in taxes; the couple making 1 million can also afford the 54k in added taxes. Why? Because generally speaking, when individuals are making that much money, there are ...

Fox News is calling the race for Christie! Of course, they are not a news organization, so they are probably wrong.
Now, there's a big black eye for Obama. He was here a few days ago campaigning for him. Didn't get my vote, sorry Barry.
But, hey, no big deal. Just because Obama was here trying to get Corzine elected in a democrat stronghold and failed, doesn't say anything about Obama. ...

Problem solved...provide health care for "the poor" by putting them in jail. Sheesh...it's time to be getting out the pitchforks and torches and going to visit Pelosi at the top of her windmill.

Thanks for the update. Isn't it sad how quickly many assumed it was an angry right wing anti-government nutcase who did this? Some people just jump to conclusions way too quickly.

Sigh...... "Rogers is either wrong or misconstruing the facts with the claims he makes in this speech.... "Section 141 of the House bill simply establishes the Health Choices Administration." http://healthtopic.nationaljournal.com/2009/09/fac tchecking-rogers-health-car.php I guess Rogers couldn't be bothered to read through a 3-page provision."" She knew she couldn't win and took one for the party...and to give the people the opportunity to elect someone other than the Democrat they so obviously oppose. Big pat on the pack.

LOL/LOL. It's almost amazing to me the difference between the polling results that Rasmussen gets and the rest of the pollsters. But if I were a member of the far right, the Rasmussen ones are the ones I would use too. So funny and so typical.
