Is the Catholic Church a force for good? It depends on how you look at the history of the Catholic Church. In my own life, as someone who benefited from Catholic school and was raised Catholic, it was both, a mix of good and bad.

I thought the Archbishop and lady proved their case. Hutchins is a humorous speaker. Fry is a sympathetic figure. I guess that swayed the audience. Good post! Thanks!

It was friggin hilarious. Not that he pissed on Jesus, but the reaction by that woman to it. I am pretty sensitive to religious tolerance and especially to the way Christians get treated, but in this case, it's much ado about nothing.

I believe in a portion of your concept. But I do think the universe affects us and we it. Also I believe there is a great "good" and a great "bad" and that love can truly heal.
