Divisive Perhaps if we actually argued principles instead of minutia we could prevent the professional politicians from splitting everybody. It is because we too often "compromise" our principles that progressively we have been losing them. No I don't think I would like that. I do believe that citizens should have the privledge to vote for their representitives. I believe that the founders left it to the states to decide how that privledge should be despenced. We have taken voting for granted and it has IMHO hurt our republic.
