Obama is correct when he states that the economy is a pressing issue. But Obama runs and hides and makes things up when questioned about his direct involvement with ACORN, (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), and ACORN’s involvement in the Freddie/Fannie melt down, which is the worm at the root of our nation’s pending economic situation. Are we to ignore Obama’s ...

Quote: WASHINGTON - Barack Obama has his William Ayers connection. Now John McCain may have an Iran-Contra connection. In the 1980s, McCain served on the advisory board to the U.S. chapter of an international group linked to ultra-right-wing death squads in Central America. The U.S. Council for World Freedom aided rebels trying to overthrow the leftist ...

It looks like the stimulate check in May is the only method really did help our economy[even for just 3 months]. My suggestion to our government in dealing with current crisis is to give us another stimulate check ASAP. Holiday is just around the corner, all retail stores need some big help for this holiday season. If the consumer don't have money to spend the stock market is going to crash even...

I'm curious to know how many of you truly believe that a new president, be it McCain or OBama, will have a positive impact on the struggling economy? If so, how and what will the new president do to achieve this result?

McCain cheats on his disabled wife that waited for him all the while he was a POW. He runs off and divorces her after cheating on her and marries the Bimbo Cindy that he was cheating with. How does the religious right justify this? Isn't this against the word of gawd? Isn't this a sin? How does he get off so easy? Jesus probably is still crying over the infidelity. How do you ...

There is no market. The numbers you see are not real. The feds have people running up the market. Their mission today, keep it above 0 or close. Hard to say if they were successful. Free markets are allowed to do what they do. This market in that scenario is not a free market. The numbers are, how you say, jigged. The Government is now fully entrenched and has no exit strategy. Sound ...

Two former NSA agents blow the whistle on wiretapping US citizens. Although the Bush administration for years has stressed that new laws allowing eavesdropping are only used to listen in on phone conversations involving terrorist targets, the two former agents argue the opposite was true. They recount numerous stories where the eavesdropping involved normal U.S. citizens living abroad. One former...

I will be writing in Ron Paul. I have tried to support McCain, but I am tired of the political antics. I realize that the alternative of Obama is beyond unacceptable, but it seems that he is on his way to winning the popularity contest. Ron Paul is the only candidate that shares a number of my governmental stances.

Republican strategists see a whole lot of Republican seats in jeopardy these days -- substantially more than were threatened two weeks ago: http://www. washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...100303699.h tml The reasons? Threefold: 1. The general atmosphere. A generic Democrat leads a generic Republican by 13 points in attitude polls. 2. The bailout. Voters are angry that the bailout was ...
