For the first time ever, I visited a mosque with some friends last night. One thing that really struck me was the diversity: blacks, Arabs, Indians, whites, and Persians were all there praying together. The imam was very friendly, giving me a tour of the facilities and answering any questions I had. Overall it was a very positive and enlightening experience, and I believe trips to mosques as part...

As far as my knowledge goes, I would rate Sheikh Ahmad Deedat as the best representitive. Many factors make choose him, such as his willingness to make people understand the real principles of Islam and faith, he created a ...

I was thinking, as the others did too, if the Islamic countries applied the Sharia laws, would these acts be stopped? Will the people ...

Muslima posted a list of contradictions in the Bible, in the Christian forum. The same problem is also in the Qu'ran but not as much (compare the SAB's 405 contradictions in the Bible with the Qu'ran's 26) , because it was written by a single author rather than a group of authors who didn't know eachother. Although Muslims believe otherwise, it seems that Muhammad took the ...

Today on the " N" train on the way to work I saw a muslim man with his wife, she wore a birka and was noticeably quite tired. There was only one seat left, the husband sat down and had his wife stand with the bags. Any explanations you can offer for this?
