FIT is only good for 6 months. If you're still on the list, they'll just ask you to take another one. Usually they like you to have less than 45 days between FIT test and FLETC, but that's not completely necessary. Most of the guys in my office had to do the fit 2 or 3 times because of the length of their processes.

Take note of this folks......this is the kind of thing that goes on all the time and you never hear about it because people can't afford to go that long without pay. Hats off to this person for fighting it this long. Hopefully it opens the eyes of a lot of people up on the hill. NYFO and WFO are notorious for this type of stuff. Just be aware if this job is your foot in the door because they will destroy your future.

Your last DUI was at the age of 21? How old were you when you managed to get the first two? I'm thinking you might have a shot...10-15 years down the road. Assuming you've pulled your head from your butt and that you manage to do something meaningful with your life over the next decade or so.

no poly and not psyc. you have all the right qualifications. It took me two years to get hired on and based on the guys around me that is about the general time frame. They amount they hire using the new program is based on how many people are needed in the area you apply in.

Congrats on your pleasant suprise! Now get ready for the paper-work nightmare to ensue One piece of advice.....go to an organized Doctor with a staff that can keep up with the paperwork. My doctor's office wound up getting plenty worked up over all the lab work, x-rays and other seemingly bizarre requests and as a consequence things took longer to get done than they should have. I guess ...

I sent mine and haven't heard back yet. When I sent my email for region 3 I got an out of office response within five minutes, so I am hoping that no news is good news for now.

I think it said on the other flyer for region 2 that the dates for the phone appointments have come and gone, so the ones that have already gotten it setup are the only ones in it for the moment. Good luck guys.
EDIT: here's the flyer for reference.

I have not seen a TO or regret letter; however I did hear from the Recruiter in Phoenix that folks that did in interview for region 7 have received their letter of regret. Also sounds like they are going to stick to the first of August to send the TOs out.
I also found out that there is a FLETC class scheduled for Aug 20, but that class is for those that have been waiting for the last ...

I'm about fed up with the FBI process and the more I read the forums the more ****ed off I get. I applied back in Oct 07, and almost immediately after, they stopped processing critical skills other than I/T, Foreign Language or Military HRT. I reapplied in May 08 and called the applicant coordinator out of Atlanta to find out if applicants with other critical skills would be processed. He ...
