The one main thing you need to tell us is whether it is possible to load "custom" or "user" points of interest onto the system. Can you find any mention of it in the literature, or on the device? If it can, the next thing to check is whether you can set proximity warnings for them, and what format it expects the files to be in (.txt, .csv, etc.)

Something odd here. £70,000 to provide two hard standings for the cameras? Since when did a Gatso (et al) require a £35,000 hard standing? All my local ones only need a pole and a hole with an electric string coming out of it. And £35,000 is a heckuva price for a hard standing. Sounds like the usual poor standard of reporting accuracy to me.

Your TomTom will have been supplied with Navcore 9 software installed but it won't alter the speed camera warnings. If you change to the offering from this site you can use the spoken voice alerts so approaching a camera the device will say something like "Warning Gatso ahead, speed limit 30 miles per hour" so it tells you the type of camera and the rated speed prior to you getting a pre set distance from the camera - Some of...

We make very little from advertising, barely enough to cover hosting costs. Managed to find it - it comes under the Points of Interest tab under the Items on device - then you select the ones you want to get rid of!

First of all - HAVE you subscribed to the database ?
If 'yes' then can you be more specific about the way in which you were unsuccessful
IE what instructions did you actually follow (whatever steps you can remember) and what happened/didn't-happen-that you-expected?
Incidentally, I suggest you carry on this in Quote: data downloads where you ...

In the last six months, PocketGPSWorld has awarded 316 camera spotters free life membership and free lifetime downloads of our speed camera database.
Assuming just 20 years as an estimated lifetime membership, obviously some will be a lot less and others will be a lot more, this means that we have given away memberships worth over £125,000. This brings the total now awarded to a ...
