Hi all, just traded in the trusty old i3 for a Nuvi 310, I was wondering if is possible to add the Karen Australian voice, also it seems to me that the i3 gave a much more realistic ETA, I guess the units use some sort of average speed calculation, is it possible to alter this setting. Thanks in advance. Mark

I have just managed to load TomTom 5 on my MDPNA100. All seems OK, I can find places on the map and start to navigate, but it does not seem to pick up a GPS signal to complete the navigation. The MDPNA100 has been working ok with Medion Navigator 4. Can anyone give me any advise on this matter, or am I just missing something ??? Thanks Ian

I need a sat nav unit with RDS-TMC. A large screen would be good. It doesn't need bluetooth or anything else fancy but needs UK and Europe street level mapping with good routing software (preferably with option for restricted speed as I tow a caravan sometimes). I've got a Tom Tom Go original but it's too chunky and doesn't have RDS-TMC. Someone has recommended a Sony unit to me ...

Hi; I am a long time lurker and first time poster here. I have a built in Sat Nav in my car at home but i am looking for a new portable to use in a hire car in Portugal in a few weeks when looking for wedding venues. The reason for the post - has anybody found a sat nav that is head and shoulders above others when used abroad? I have £150 - £200 to spend and was considering a Garmin ...

I will be going to Ireland very soon. How do they use GPS car navitation in Ireland? In the US we enter an address. I can't find addresses for most of the locations - B&B's and tourist sites. Latitude and longitude coordinates for locations are the best I've been able to come up with. Can I put the coordinates in? I've searched for hours trying to find addresses, but no ...

Hi my Mio 168 does not charge up the battery. The orange light comes on and the indicater runs up to 100% but the battery remains at the same charge state. I have tried another battery but the same thing.. Anyone else had this problem. Could I have brought a duff battery or is it likely to be the charging circuit on the processor circuit board. Another thing if I can't get it working I am...

Hi, I have a Nuvi 860 and Tomtom One V4 XL EU (T) and would like to compare them for a review I'd like to write. I understand that the Nuvi is in a league of its own but I think the basic maps and features can be compared as they are common between most models. What would you all suggest are the features which I should compare? I'd also like to look at the the PC software? ...

Hello everybody, I urgently need help in deciding which GPS device to buy. The two devices I was looking are Navman F10 and MyGuide 3100. I need only the basic GPS functions. Do you have any suggestions which one would be a better choice in regards to their hardware specifications? I believe that Navman has the faster cpu (400MHz) and less RAM (32MB) and that MyGuide ...
