6.0 Gas regular cab. We plow a mix of everything. No residential though. Some wide open.. some tight..We have 5 other straight blades so this will not be my only plow. I want to say my buddies V had a bunch of relays and what not under the hood on the harness?

Boss push beam height question
Published (2009-12-06 00:16:00)
Well with the threat of snow coming I finally got motivated to drop the pushbeam and make it detachable. Ill get pics tomorrow as I need to finishi it up but I did drive my plow home and it hooks up nice and easy again. It going to take some getting used too since I can no longer see my boss headlights nor the position of the plow unless im in scoop or full left or right.

Your headlamps don't work because on the plow side 13 pin harness the headlamps have their own dedicated ground wire through the bumper plug to the truck harness for which your 11 pin truck side harness will not have. Best way to fix it is to use the 11-to-13 pin truck side conversion kit. This will not only get your lights working but the Smart Hitch feature as well. Need Boss p/n MSC04758 ...

The controller is dying or you have a loose connection on the red controller power wire Chris. Not that common but as with anything electrical it can and does happen. Still under warranty right?

Not a very big deal to extend them, your blade will wear funny and taking the plow on and off will be very hard if you don't. The Boss harness's 12 years ago use to come a couple longer not sure why they shortened them.
