Personally, i've always had basic living skills off to a tee.. but having recently got back into contact with other teenagers it has been brought to my attention the lack of basic cooking and cleaning skills around. After Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food.. he did an interview on LK Today, where he stated that this is the 3rd generation that hasn't been taught how to cook at school. Why is that...

Does anyone else thnk this is as dangerous as it sounds? The politics of this "gentleman" are suspect, much as those of his forbears, and I am sure that he would like the public not to know what it ought to know. IMHO the fact that the chairman of the FIA has been paying for S&M themed orgies (whether or not nazi themed, although they seemed to give hat impression) is something the public are...

I was a bit concerned at our PM's latest statement " "To me the British banking system is a bit like a busted juke box". According to senior government sources Mr Brown is now answering the phone by saying 'hey!' and walking about the office arm-in-arm with a pair of 17 year-old twins. Is there any point in getting Ralph and Potsie to poke around in the juke box like a couple of dorks, or ...

My first thread - be gentle! Following on from a recent thread in which a poster expressed his dismay at seeing so many 'attractive' women on the site who smoke. I admit to having similar feelings. I click on profiles of women, and am disappointed to note that the first line of their profile contains the information that they smoke. It does save me the bother of reading any further, so I ...

There has been uproar caused apparently because of comments made by environmental minister for Oldam East and Saddleworth .... He was making comments about first cousin marriages and the high birth defect rates apparent in children who are born to these unions ... Now there are racial overtones to this story and I don't want to bring them to the forefront of the real reason I am putting up ...

reading the papers i see that over 80,000 muslims gathered in indonesia seeking to make a calaphate for the muslim world, not really knowing a lot about calaphate and not being able to find it exactly on my engine search i only know a few things, as i understand it it is a call for a single muslim state, do you think this would be a good thing or would it further distance them from the western ...

Like... I put a picture on the rating thing, and i'm quite put out that i'm only averaging 4 point something!!! Honestly... i've seen the people on here, some of which are voted like 6's and 7's... and I aint saying i'm a Brad Pitt or anything... but... FOUR OUT OF TEN??? A MUM of seven is being paid £170,000 a year in benefits so she can live in a £1.2million mansion. Taxpayers hit by the credit crunch fund the swish seven-bedroom home enjoyed free by Afghan migrant Toorpakai Saindi and her family. And her landlord is raking in rent of more than £12,000 a month from a local council — funded by taxpayers. That’s DOUBLE the normal market value of the ...

I feel a need to vent, so vent I will, I've had it, for 18 months round abouts I've been coming in and out of this forum, and at one point or another there has been politically hot topics, Immigration Asylum, migration, the justice system homosexuality, Terrorism, and at some point someone always manages to read something either homophobic, racist, islamphobic, [if there is such a word]...

I'm sat here with a big woolly cardigan on and slippers on (all though they do need replacing as they have holes in them) and feeling rather chilly. I haven't put the heating on yet, but am sorely tempted. Has anyone else let the cold beat them and putting the heating on yet, or are you like me resisting the temptation? How cold does it have to get before you admit defeat and turn it on?

I was chatting to my 8 year old great Niece earlier this evening and she has been learning about Evolution etc. Now she also knows about Jesus, God etc and asked me and her Gran this... God created the world and Adam and Eve and they went on to have children and thats how we all got here. But if the world was first inhabited by Dinosaurs and apes etc that went on to become what we are today ...

Toilet facilities are being built in London's Olympic Park so Muslims will not have to face Mecca while sitting on the loo.......... ( and it doesn't mean the Mecca bingo hall ) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1061051/Lo ndons-Olympic-Park-toilets-turn-away-Mecca-respect -Islamic-law.html It's bad enough that as a Londoner I'm forced to pay approx £30 extra per month on my council tax ...

On the ITV news today, Ester Ranzen did an experiment in a busy shopping centre. Using two child actors, one boy, one girl, separately they both pretended to be lost and in distress. Hundreds of adults walked past, ignoring the child. Suprisingly, only five people actually stopped, and went to the child's aid. Now, if you were in that shopping centre would you stop and help the child or just ...

I have two friends who are seeing attached guys, actually three.. I am trying to be not too judgmental but I am judgmental, find it absolutely awful but I do not express my opinion very loudly when around them. The story is usual, the poor innocent guy with no bad habits hehe is sooooo unhappy with his terrible and evil wife but he cannot leave her as she is so evil that she would make his...

I just read a topic on singles over 30 on a foreign forum.. and was shocked with few honest posts where the girls who are over 30 and never married are saying they are living in small towns with only few single guys who they know all and they just go to work and come home each evening, no dates, no singles events, nothing and they feel too old... One of them says she has got 2 single guys in...

How would you feel knowing your partner was having sex with someone else? would you or have you ever entered into this kind of relationship?? For me im not sure id be happy with a partner even kissing another woman let alone knowingly letting them get into bed with her....
