I go to a chiropractor and massage therapy for my back. I have also been to a naturopath and have taken naturopathic medicines to prevent me from getting bronchitis when I get a cold and I find they are helpful. I've had lasor therapy on my wrist when I strained the tendon and it helped it greatly. Today I went to a seminar to learn about distant healing and healing by Intention. It was put ...

I am on a 60 day water fast. I am wondering who has tried this and what you thought of it. I have read as much as I could about it, but there is not a huge amount of information about it. I like it and have a huge amount of weight lost already. For those who are against it...its not starving and it one of the healthiest things you can do for your body. It also gives you great power over ...

Has anyone had weight loss surgery and then tried to date? I've lost 125 pounds and am now 118 pounds and am a size 2. I'm really proud of the accomplishment and wok out every day. My problem is that when I tell people the reaction is very hard. I can't date someone for too long without saying something because the inevitable questions always come up about not eating and really small ...

I am taking the next week to focus on my running, on building my core and abs (through a wide range of situp workouts, flutterkicks, etc), and on pushups and pullups. I want to work myself REALLY good, whilst avoiding injury, so that when I go to BCT for the Army on the 9th, the workouts will be easier; but also so I can do more and benefit more from the workouts when I am there. Since it will ...

So you are dying of thirst and head to your fridge and you have three options. In your fridge you see: can of diet pepsi - 0 calories can of regular pepsi - 130 calories fruit juice - 130 calories What do you grab? Do you ditch all three and go for water instead? If you choose water, do you go for tap or bottled? Which in your opinion is the healthiest to drink? Diet pop has aspartame (...

Noticed someone's post: "It's very funny how most of people on this site define their body type as athletic. Mirror Mirror, tell me who I am? ;)" I work out several times a week and consider myself athletic; when I cut down to less than twice a week I actually change my profile to average. I'm wondering how other people choose a setting on that one. Of all things to post on I know, its a ...

I"m a steel worker who works around a lot of hazardous chemicals. I'm looking for a way to do a detox to try and get some of this shit out of my system. I've heard of a clorox detox bath that people say works real well. Anyone else heard or know anything about this? I've looked on a lot of sites and can't get a real idea on what it is or how much clorox ect.

I have had 2 weeks off work and back tomorrow, and sorting work gear out. My suits are abit tight as ive over endulged in ice creams and other things since ive been off. But it isnt just that I can honestly say over the last 3 months ive done no excercise (apart from moving around/being busy working and looking after twins of 7). I have also over endulged in eating crap. I need to get onto a...

I have Fibromyalfia; not ashamed to admit it,' cause it's on my profile. I get alot of "praises" for coming forward with it. I just want to know what people(espically men) think about it. It's in the arthritis family and it effects your nerves, muscle weakness, memory loss, chronic fatigue, and flu like symtoms, and also muscle spasms. 'Cause this really scares guys off, but it's not ...

I have a tire that I had someone attach ropes into. I use it when I want a great outdoor leg workout. I might start at one end of my yard and flip the tire to the other end, making sure each flip Im in a Deep squat, back straight , etc...... once I get to the other end I then grab the ropes and run pulling the tire behind me...and repeat until I can't take it anymore (LOL) Any other ...

Ok then!! so I've been at 220 for the past few months now. So i will give you a run down of how my weight lost has been going. I became a vegetarian more than a year ago now, which was the best thing I have ever done in my life. Oh well, from 268 I went down to 220, been there for months now. Ok then!! Now!! I want to get started on the working out part, cause I think I hit a wall and feel ...
