Those of you who have had your last hurrah should realize that its because of your own decisions about how you want to live, not because of any paucity of opportunities... Well for some it could be a paucity of opportunities while for others it is may well be because of how they wish to live their life.. One might choose to live their life being happy and fulfilled and are not willing to give up that just because some opportunity knocks....

Some of us have no desire to share a bed. Seperate bedrooms or seperate house are the only way some of us would go. Sleeping alone allows us to not spend the night listen to snoring, or being pushed onto the edge of the bed by someone's tossing and turning. Single is good once we realize what we really want our life to be like.

Can there be any feeling more comforting than the pressure of your partner's body against yours while you sit beside each other passing the time away reading a book, or watching a movie, or watching the snow fall through the window on a stormy Winter's day? The pressure you feel is the expression of your closeness, a statement that you are together, calm, happy and content just to be together. You are not sitting beside each other,...

On one hand, the psychologists are telling us that as women age, their testestorone increases and they become more aggressive. On the other hand, many of them are in need of a cat, small dog, or a younger toy boy. Is this dichotomy normal for an older woman or are these two different kinds of women? It does seem like another troll thread, designed to push the buttons of women and create some back and forth gender bickering. Where are these...

What does amaze me,however, is the general position of women that its mainly the men who screw around. Wonder who the men screw around with...I cant fathom having that concept...normally it takes two or more :P

Having read extensively this section of the forum, I haven't come across examples of gamers in the 45+ age bracket. Awe my young grasshopper...have you not learned yet that life itself is one big game? Only problem is...is that everybody wants to play by their own rules..and nobody else's. The older one gets, the better they get at playing the game. So, my question is, do you really think that men in this "higher" age...

It is funny...that we want men at our age...but they are chasing younger women... We are not looking for younger men...but they are chasing us... So... who is who?

Good question. I read your other post and think this is a bad idea for both of you but for other reasons. Not this one. Paranoia is paranoia and it is always an impediment. Do you fight it or do you give in to it? This is a big deal because he is coming from so far away. Lloyd George said it best: "Take bold action when it is indicated. You can't jump a canyon in a series of smaller leaps." In...

Well, I wouldn't consider myself a pill popping lounge lizard, by any means, but I do have health problems that have come on this past year that have caused a huge change in my lifestyle. I am much more physically limited right now, although hopefully it will improve, and I do have to take cardiac/blood pressure related medications that are due to an autoimmune illness that has nothing to do ...

I guess one needs to ask the OP what the psychologists have to tell us about men that age. Perhaps they need that red or silver convertible, that motorcycle, all the dead animals and fish in their profile photos or even that sassy young female that they want hanging off of their arm. Or are these several different kinds of men who are aging and are grasping at anything that resembles the ...

I'm not a big fan of joint bank accounts. If I met "the one" and put all my money into an account that she had access to, then how would I be able to fund the little get-aways with the misstress without being discovered? It just wouldn't work.

You can;t feel love, romance and passion unless the other partner is expressing it and reflecting your own expression of it. Many believe it develops over time, others believe in instant connection, as in love at first site. If you are of the latter type, then the only way to get what you want is to go through as many contacts as you can as fast as you can until you hit paydirt. If you are of...

Depends. I usually go for "my mate" or "ma hunny." Have a couple of friends who've been together for a dozen years who seriously introduce each other as their "Esso" ~~ My last love introduced me variously as his friend, his partner, and his lady.

I have started shaving and thought it really is a source of rectal discomfort i have found that females love it so i guess it`s worth it and yes it`s tedious but i have yet to slice anything away. I`d guess it`s easier for women and while a clean shave is great for dining purposes it`s not required as long as a bushhog isn`t necessary to find my way.

Blueyes, I hope you aren't still dating this guy???? Sounds like you are on different pages with the affection. I haven't met anyone of that mindset, but I think it's depressing! Someone openly admits they DON'T want or desire affection, touching, caressing? Maybe his mommy didn't breast-feed him?

I have to see beauty and beauty is part of many things; part of which can be difficult if not impossible to view in a picture. There is physical beauty that is difficult to pass by and some of those hot chickedies have a lot of the other beauties as well. For me, I have to see beauty and not be completely repulsed by the woman and I can have a pretty strong stomach. Now, I don't have any ...

Nothing can compare to meeting someone face to face - the personal contact is essential to really know if there is a connection or not. On line can only be treaded an a mere tool for an introduction - so I feel anyway, perhaps it might be different for others!

Talk out expectations before you let someone move into your home vs expecting someone else to know what will make you happy...some people just assume things...he might have felt like he was your guest and so he was entitled to things...or he was a freeloader ...who knows but if you talk about things first then that tends to stop problems from cropping up down the line. What is right for others...

Awsome question. The way I look at it. when your young you think thats it and your emotions are all over the place so its harder then. While you maybe older and might have that idea that that might have been your last chance. you still from experience can have hope that there are more out there.

We women have all our lives been evaluated primarily on physical beauty by an overwhelming majority of men we've met--at least initially. And, health problems aside, younger women have the greater physical beauty--not necessarily more intelligence, more spirit of fun, more generosity, more energy--just tighter, more toned tissues. [Female posters DON'T START BASHING ON ME about how great you ...
