Does System Reset wipe your harddrive or does it just reset to default settings (and keeps stuff in your harddrive like game saves)?

You first need a way to access the PS3 Motherboard. Yet the PS3 is not hackable so its impossible. Use common sense.  

*sigh* Why does this have to be asked every week ? Usually by 8pm. It's not set in stone though, could be later could be earlier, may not happen untill the next day.

i fixed it when i had this problem by, pluggin my ps3 directly into the modem, doing a set up, going online to verify that it works, played a game, then plugged my router back in and it worked
