A couple thousand people are usually on. The only expansions that are out are Gene, Meme, and Scene. Nothing's been said about another expansion. I personally think it's only fun when you play with friends.

Hey Mr,   The explaination of what they mean is within their GOALS section.  They were basically trying to get Konami from pulling the plug on the FIRST Metal Gear Online released with Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence.  So you should not be worried at all about this current MGO released with MGS4 unless they decide to released an updated version with Metal Gear Rising.   Only time will tell.
