Wow...I personally would reschedule your procedure. I might consider traveling a short distance a week after lipo but not on the second day. You'll be stiff and you will definitely not have your range of motion. Your family will notice this.

I have been reading the message boards concening working out and I know most people wait at least 3 weeks before resuming their workout routine. Most seem to say they swell after working out even months later. What is the reason for the swelling? I would love to know! Not working out is not an option for me. It is my profession and if I k new the reason for the swelling it might help me when I resume my normal workout routine. Only 10 days...

Every one has a different perception and response to pain. Massaging, from what I understand and can attest, helps prevent lumps and facilitates the healing process. This is logical as massage promotes circulation and brings blood to the impacted area. I had a couple of TriActive treatments that were included with my procedure.
