I have replaced the transmission, power steering pump, the entire front end plus wheel bearings, u-joints, the reverse lights quit working, now this. I've never been a Dodge fan, I remember why now. I had to replace the whole steering system, because Dodge knew they had a problem and made all of the replacement parts where you had to replace the whole deal from tie rod end to tie rod end, drag link, center section, and the steering stabilizer. All I really needed was a passenger side tie rod end. Two months after my company paid to have that done, Dodge had a recall on the "new" system (that was about twice a large as...

My "new" Trailer now...

Turned out real nice! I like the way the axle clamps work, they look to be completely adjustable. Say if you needed to adjust your axle left to right or wanted to add in a wider axle. Can you flip it to spring over for more ground clearance? Are the doors heavy? Knowing the way my luck works, I foresee some smashed fingers in your future. _________________ 02' Rodeo- 3" lift, OEM brush guard, roof rack, vehicross rims 89'...

My "new" Trailer now...

I believe the trailer is a home built. the Grandfather of the lady who sold it to me was a master fabricator for the mines around tucson and could make anything he put his mind to. The doors are not too heavy even though they are made of heavy guage steel. The axle was a solid piece of steel and I had to cut the middle out of it and slide the ends into a pipe to make it wider for the 15 x 8s that match the Rodeo's. So now I could adjust...

My new ride!

A new month and a little more funds to continue the build! I ordered the following components to complete the lower rear arms: (2 of these sets) I also ordered the rear truss: That should be it for this month. Next month I will purchase the parts to complete the top rear arms. These arms will have JJs at both ends. The JJs will be the same size as the lowers but will have a 1" threaded stud compared to a 1 1/4" for the...

Unless its just me the lid/cover looks to be made of old refrigerator doors if I am not mistaken. Very unique for sure! Almost looks like if you wanted, you could turn the split lid into seats if you wanted somewhere to sit/eat on the trails. _________________ Eli, 1988 Dodge Raider(Red): 150k, 2.6 I4 w/ Weber+K&N. 5spd KM145, SW Hubs, 34x9.5 Swamper TSLs, 4.62s & R/LSD, 1" T-Bar, 2" 4Crawler BL, some lights,...

Been watching this thread and I enjoy the fab work I see. I drive a Samurai... ...and I scope other sites when I can. I was surprised to see a Jeep thread over here on planetisuzoo, but this has been a cool read. _________________ If you love something set it free, if it gets hit by a car at least you got something to eat. ________________________________ 1987 Suzuki Samurai convertible SPOA (CJ front springs in rear, Rear springs up front),...

yes chrysler did do a recall, they have changed the steering system 3 times now. the new set up is a whole new assembly with bigger diameter parts. 1 Good thing about Chrysler, they always are changing something and Recalling it not long after the vehicle is off the assembly line. SO if you can do it all under warranty or recall, you can afford to drive chryslers lol.

I'm selling my dually and parting out my 70' so we can get some bills payed off. Very impressive! Did you take the same line as the Bronco? I would have been gripping the seat with my butt cheeks in that last clip. _________________ 02' Rodeo, a few P'ups and an 89' Trooper "Tougher than the world's toughest roads. Isuzu. Driving into your future"

Our 2005 Astro got rear ended, so I ordered a new bumper bar. I still needed the brackets, and found them at a salvage yard. The set I bought actually has a DrawTite 2" receiver hitch, and it was only $30. Bolts right to the 'frame' in place of the factory brackets. Now, I am hooking up the wiring. The Astro has a trailer pigtail from the factory with no connector, which I added. The ...

Confused by the description of your problem...does it do it at all times or just when you are applying / releasing the clutch? Kind of doubt clutch is your problem from your description. Pilot bearing is in the back of the crankshaft and it supports the front input shaft of the transmission. Some are simply bushings, some are actual bearings. Clutch release bearing aka throw out bearing ...
