if you want the stronger axle go find a one ton camper special Toyota rear end in your stock housing in the rear.... also find another one same ratio out of a rear and stick in the front.... i am currently running 38.5/15/15 and i can roast the shit out of them.....

I have. I actually have one in the rear of my project. I'm not a huge fan of them but they are cheap and easy to install. You might also look into an Aussie Locker if you are looking at Lock Rights. Very similar but usually a slight bit cheaper.

Nice, keep us updated, I like the looks of it and the tire size with minimal lift. I am going to be doing the same thing, trying to get enought to clear 39.5 IROK's. How far forward are you going to end up with the front axle? I'll ask more details later, but looks great!

They should all swap over if you are talking about the front axle. I believe you are since you mentioned the gussets underneath the axle.

If you are patient I know of two people on here that are planning to be ripping out their 22RE and replacing them with a 4.3. They both just want a little more power, hence the 4.3. I'm sure their 22RE's will go up for sale this winter as they are removed. One is for sure the other is still getting things together. I hope they both get it done this winter and I hope they chime in..... Along...
