Took a day trip to Volant. Great wine (wife say's) and really good food next door. Forget the name of the place, but it's served the best Chicken and dumpling soup I've ever had. Thanks for the post Jerrib. My wife bought Pink Catawba, Volant Red, Wilmington white and her favorite? Riesling. Grapes are picked after the first frost. Not quite an Ice wine but close. Is anyone familiar with tthe winery in Volant, Pa? That's the little tourist stop outside of new Wilmington, Pa? I think this is their second or third season. Have you tried their product and what is your impression?
