Pitt is unbeaten on the road this year (game is in Cincy). Pitt is coming off a bye week after beating Louisville. Cincy is coming off a W against Louisville as well. Vegas has Cincy giving 5 points. For Cincy, it's simple: beat Pitt, win the Big East. Not officially... they still have to beat Syracuse. But let's assume they will beat The Orange next week, Pitt is the last obstacle for ...

Interesting convo on Mike and Mike this morning talking about Notre Dame football and if it will ever be a power house again. Because of how the academics are, they are more selective with who they let in than USC, Texas, etc. What do you all think? Wheren't their academic standards just as high when they were a powerhouse? Acouple of years ago with Brady Quinn they were pretty good.

Here is a great article from the Chicago Tribune: http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/co ... 934.column Basic summary: Charlie Weis... gigantic doosh, bad head coach. The stories that resulted from Weis' visits to Jeannette are just unreal.

My call: Stull starts, seeing this is his ONLY chance to ever play IN South Bend. The defense plays great, making up for last weekend's debacle. The Irish can't stop McCoy and the offense continues to put up the points. Pitt wins by 7+.

http://www.fannation.com/si_blogs/the_sweep/posts/ 21761 With all due respect to Joe Paterno, Daryll Clark, Derrick Williams, Evan Royster ... let's face it: The majority of the country did not want to see Penn State in the BCS title game. Mind you, this had nothing to do with the Nittany Lions themselves and everything to do with their beleaguered conference. If Ohio State had beaten LSU ...

Didn't see the game but wow, it must have been dramatic. Last second field goal and all. Best and worst moment for a kicker. So, is Penn State knockout for a NC?

Pitt. Ranked. Playing at home. Six point favorites. Yup, I smell a loss. I really, really, really wish LV hadn't lost to Syracuse last weekend. The word on Stull is that he should be starting against LV, so that's a good thing. We'll see. If Pitt gets that 7th this weekend, I will be one happy camper!
