I honestly think it is irresponsible for a rescue to place two dogs in one house regardless of their bond. Ive seen the same thing on rescue sites, where they just cant bear to separate two dogs, but that is ridiculous. Dogs need individual attention. Even bringing in two tiny puppies into one home is way out of line. You need to work with one, before adding another. You need to be crating this pair as much as possible and take them out...

I would ship you LEO, he would do well in a home with a female dog, even a bitchy small dog since he lived with two chi's in his previous life (loose in a backyard) . Too bad he's all the way on the east coast.

Hey, I originally wanted a little female dog that I could pick up easily... but wound up with big ol' Booker (who seems smaller and smaller in comparison every time I go to work!) and can't complain!

Argh. I'm sorry you're not getting the help and information you need from the rescue group that gave you these dogs. I'm going to move this post to the Training and Behavior section, so hopefully you can get more help there. I find it odd that a private rescue group didn't start separating the dogs and evaluate them individually.

This BEAUTIFUL heart-melter Pit Bull named Ziggy has been at Clackamas County Dog Services for over 2 months now. He really needs out and into his forever home ASAP.
