That Sunday afternoon, the woman passed a man drinking a can of beer in an underpass who was with the dog at his feet. Again, demographics of the situation - at least they didn't scream pit bull attack and commented on the 'oh so stellar' owner.

Jesus, that poor pup. It does not take a couple of days for a dog to die of starvation and whoever witnessed the situation waited too long to report it. That picture was heartbreaking.
