It was the center pin in the leafs, not that big a deal the hole is 3/8" the spring pads are at least 1/2"

you dont want a bottoming tap for that. use a starting tap. check all the major places, MSC Mcmaster Carr and enco.

Strong V8's do not belong in front of Toyota cases. I run an LT1 infront of 23 spline 2.28 to 4.7 and wish I didn't waste the time. You can drive like grandma and make it hold up for a while, but abuse will soon let you down.
