wazup Cade, Luke at www.4x4labs.com is doing conversions for those motors isn't he..... he would probly know. His sight says they will be doing a production run soon.... actually i was there right after the AL blanks were delivered a coupl months ago so there probly on m now

thanks! For the tire carrier, I wanted to go with something VERY close to stock, something that was very easy to get the tire on and off. Saftey is always first in my book! So I took special care in fabricating a SAFE means to secure the spare! One that could pose no risc of injury to owner or his passengers.....

I have alot of updates, but most are from the 66 stocker. Will probably be
a month or so before I start installing the 4.3 into the 69. Getting ready
to start body work on the 66 right now so I can get it painted.

Damn Dave, that brings back some memories. Not sure if Gil still owns it, though the add sounds like it. Last I heard when he picked it up he was building a restaurant/bar/hotel up hwy 50. Never knew if it panned out though. Still is a cool rig imo.
