http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/tls/1490916505.html and this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=170396115788 add forks on it and Ill bet you are money ahead as well as being able to do a lot more stuff. Outside of a production facility and without lottery winnings I don't see a bridge crane as a good investment.

Do you have anything that will expand 1.5" x .083 wall round tubing so that it will sleeve over itself?

7.5hp motor for air compressor -...
Published (2009-12-04 10:24:00)
I am going to tear in to it tonight and do some measuring and see what size the pulleys are. I will need close to a nine inch pulley for the pump or the motor? not sure need to look at it and get it straight in my mind I wish i could find a good deal like that on a 10 horse motor or a 7.5. But the 5hp around here is cheapest. The bad part of living in a small town is i have one place for a motor. So i will have to order it and pay shipping i...

Pro Tools bender slop
Published (2009-12-05 00:48:00)
I managed to get almost all the slop out of the bender and my buddy made me a POB to be sure my bends are on plane. I would have made it myself but I"m in the middle of something. Just to let those who may be interested know, the engineer from protools never responded to my email about the slop in my bender. I guess once you buy it your on your own or that particular guy dropped the ball.

Search here for nitrocat aircat. I think it was TNToy or something like that did a review and it's been bumped regularly with updates and comparisons to the IR TI guns. I've got a nitrocat aircat 1/2" and a 3/8" and i like them but don't use them professionally.

We do it all the time, unless you have a lip things tend to rattle off. They can be top heavy unless you load them properly. When they are top heavy and you hit something on the floor when moving them the results can be ugly. Ive seen guys try to put wheels on store bought shelving with poor results, they tend to twist and flex a lot. By the time they get them beefed up well they would have ...

I have a 28v Milwalkee hammer drill, sawzall and impact . they are over 3 years old and still work like new. I just used the drill all day installing electrical in the new addition which consisted of drilling studs and headers with a 3/4 paddle bit. Did not even have to change batteries.

How big is your shop? What do you hope to accomplish with it? I have thought about rigging up a old garden tractor with an engine hoist, the footprint would be a lot smaller than a golf cart. You can find stout old cub cadets with real hydrostatic transmissions around here for a few hundred bucks

No idea on price but goddamn they're sweet. We had a 7.5T Demag at my previous job and once you get used to it you can't live w/out it. The main thing was to watch the rubber bumpers up top; a lot of people would try to drive it into far corners and of course it can't reach there due to space consumed by the bridge and motor assy. edit: I always ass-umed the main cost of retrofitting one ...

I know exactly what you are talking about. Thats the biggest problem I'm having with my gottrikes.com style bender and the pro tools die. How are you aligning the bends before you make the second bend? Do you use a angle finder/level or eyeball?
