I need to change out the boot on the outer end(the side that goes into the hub). Do I have to tear the whole
half shaft down to replace that or is there a way to take that end off? I looked at flash but it doesn''t have anything for that boot replacement that doesn''t show taking the whole thing apart. Any tips? Thanks

Hey all, just thought I would share some photos and tec info on a H-1 build that we are doing. It started out with a customer wanting 42'' tires, but they wont fit of course. So we started out by building new arms out of 1/4'' and 3/8'' plate. To make room so they dont
hit the floor boards, we made them 6'' longer and 4'' forward and 6'' longer and 4'' rearward out back. The end result is 14'' ...

After looking at some pictures online, I made sure to get a good look at this thing at the Detroit auto show over the weekend. It looks much
better in person IMO The links in the rear you see from the side are trailing arms, it is full-IS. Also has front and rear lockers! It sure looks like 37s will fit too, I just wonder if the drivetrain would be up to the task. More pictures here: ...

Would like to own an H1 sometime in the future. Given the unlikelyhood of wanting to pay the cash for even a used Alpha with the Duramax, and given the fact that old 2000 and beyond Optimizer
6.5 diesel is not as well built as the 6.6, I have considered a 350 gasoline powered version. I will however leave the critical analysis to those that know the vehicle much better than I..............
