!!!Extra $30 bucks!!!
Published (2009-11-06 02:35:00)
My whole time I was with Alltel I had to pay 40 bucks for each blackberry on my plan. Same as Verizon. This was along with the rest of my package. So I don't get it at all. How long have ya'll been with Alltel? Maybe that had something to do with it.

Yes, it's common, most carriers charge seperately for a BIS plan. I am an Alltel customer as well, the base plan similar to my old Alltel plan is cheaper but once you add the $30 x 2 BBs my bill with them will be about $30 more per month and I will lose some features....not thrilled about this merger at all! But I got my first VZW bill this month and they seem to charge less fees than Alltel did because my bill is $8 less than with...

Okay, so I've recently learned about the eScreen with blackberry smartphones. I could not find anything really that helpful on crackberry.com. Wondering if you all can help me out with this So far I know you can change codec. What else?

Dialling Problems
Published (2009-11-05 00:17:00)
Hi, This should be straight forward, but I need some guidance... I've got an 8310, when I dial out, instead of the device dialling all digits I enter, it replaces the first 3 digits with just a + then the remainder of the digits. Where can I fix this so it dials all digits I enter? Thanks,

What's up everybody, I am really confused right now. My wife and I are still with Alltel adn we called Verizon to inquire about switching over to their phones and plans. The Representative told her that if we wanted to keep blackberrys, we would have to pay an extra $30 per phone/per month. When we asked why, he advised us that its a fee that we'll have to pay to have blackberry telephones. Has anyone out there ever heard this before...

i agree and disagree with you.
at the end of the day RIM puts out a solid reliable product.
but I do get the impression they are resting on their laurels, just a little bit. but I think there is a reason for it.
They tried to go after the iphone crowd with the storm and I don't think it went very well. to compensate, RIM will continue to put out a solid product because they know they ...

Do you have your device gmail email setup to synchronize deleted items? When you delete from your device is it setup to delete from device only or device and mailbox?
I'm not having any trouble when I set my device to delete on both "device and mailbox", it deletes from my inbox on my gmail account on the web...

I would--I have changed OS's and just had to resign in, I believe. Un and Re Installing should solve the issue. Or you can go to Options, Application Settings and say Yes to Save All on Exit if it doesn't already say that.

Have you looked into what ports may need to be opened on your wireless router? Not sure if its a solution but its worth looking into. Hope it helps.

First & foremost your BB device must be running OS 5.0
The easy way to begin syncing your BB is delete your Google contacts prior to syncing & then initiate the auto sync process assuming your BB contacts are current & backed up . Hope this answers your issue.
Because u now have dual entries on both sources, you must delete the duplicates in your BB and start the suggested process ...

You can...but you won't receive the email on your device. I take it that you still want the email to be forwarded to your device...right?
If that is true, I don't know of a way around it. A filter won't help you in that case. Still looking for maybe a third party software answer.

I love my Tour. This is my third and hopefully last returned Tour. I had several track ball issues. Finally, I got a brand new (not refurbished) Tour. I've had it several weeks and no problems. The Tour 2 is the same phone, except it will come with WiFi and a touch pad as opposed to a trackball. I have the Sprint data plan, so WiFi is not something I will need and the track ball issue is no ...
