You should leave it in the rice at least a day if not longer. If you put the battery in will it is still wet you take a
big chance on frying it totally. I would say put it back in the rice another 24 hours at least then try it again.

Go into your event log (alt lglg) and look for the severe error in
bold type. Click on that and it should tell you what app the error is linked to. Other than showing the error pop-up, does your BB seem to be working OK?

I actually like my 8900
trackball over the 8320 one. I think its just trackballs in general that are unreliable which is why RIM now went trackpad.

I would not recommend connecting to two of the same
type of service (2 headsets for example.. ), but I have connected to a headset and a bluetooth dongle on a computer with my 8900 at the same time.

Maybe its a new email for your OEM account, like if you have
ATT DSL its for that . . . never seen that one on my 8900 . .
