Hey fxyb, Yes the phone is amazing I can't seem to fill it up lol, it's not like I am trying because my 8310 couldn't handle all the things that this one can. I haven't had to do a battery pull once woohoo! As for the keyboard I had to cut mine in order to actually type. Now the track ball is another story.

Not from a BB, no flash support. You can only view vidoes from sites like blueapplemobi and m.youtube.com...ones that have videos optimized for mobile use.

Two things you can try. One go to blackberry.com/messenger from your device or connect to desktop manager and reinstall it through there.

adding contacts to sim card?
Published (2009-11-08 21:33:00)
Two ways around that.......1. When you buy a new phone your provider of choice can swap numbers to your new device, 2. If you get another BB you can you desktop manager to move all of your info from one BB to the next. I have an 8900 too, and I haven't found a way to move contacts to the SIM......I tried a few different things after I read your post, without success.

I'm sitting here chuckling quietly to myself, b/c I too, get so excited when I get a new BB. It's just good to know I'm not alone and we're all not nuts! Still have to admit, I've had mine for a couple of months now and I still can't type as fast as I was able to on my Pearl 8120. I do love that you can do more with this one (like making file folders) and each day, I'm finding out something new. Just wish I...

My only suggestion to you would be to connect to BBM and restore your BB to the most recent back-up prior to the upgrade. Then check to see if the browser is fixed. If the browser is working again, then you can attempt to upgrade again and see if the issue is resolved. If it is still buggy after the second upgrade, I would suggest staying with your previous OS and wait for 5.0.
Good luck!

why bother when there are housings out there that could make the whole phone white not to mention soon to come white keyboard . Nonetheless, there are those who don't know about these things and will ultimately get suckered into buying a brand new phone just because it's white now lmao. Too funny.
