I put my truck in neutral while doing about 50. It was done on accident while reaching for something and hitting the column shifter on the way back up. Never tried turning my truck off though while at high speeds.

Actually, it was probably a GM that towed the garbage away.

Oh I agree. Its just different ways of looking at the same thing. The sales are sad but I still wonder why their sales went up.

Myth busters did an episode with a Ford Crown Vic that they tried all that stuff and it didn't work jamming it park and reverse and so on while driving , I tried it to with my 1991 Toyota Corolla and it didn't work either , how ever pulling the parking brake on a muddy logging road will almost send you over the edge

Wouldn't want to leave out the fact those GM tanks passed federal safety standards. Wouldn't want to mention that the tank that finally caught fire in the staged Dateline story had a non standard gas cap that leaked. All vehicles with gas tanks have the potential to catch fire. Supposedly Toyota knew the mats could cause a problem for the last 7 or 8 years and chose not to change a simple accelerator pedal. Likely because they knew...

It's like the old wild west. Only real men can tame a Toyota, all others die trying.

I'd say right off hand, it's being directed to the DNC for the elections next year. They're gonna need it too.

Haven't seen the Ram or Jeep commercials yet. I did see a GM commercial where the GM truck was pulling out a dodge and Toyota together, from a mud pit. I only caught the end of it, so it may have been a ford and a toyota, couldn't recall, and couldn't find it on youtube. It's a new commercial, and I believe the ford or dodge, was trying to pull out the toyota and got stuck, and the GM pulled ...

Sales bounced back pretty good after the Sept 09 C4C truck spanking. There's lots of incentives so little money being made. It's deja vu all over again.

Nice work! I think GM did the right thing to get rid of Hummer. Hopefully GM will have some nice new trucks in the pipeline, but right now it is hard to ignore the Raptor... you just need to upload some pics!

Gonna be an ugly year for truck/auto sales and profits. Surprising any manufacturer would talk about new models or engines. Odd that auto manufacturers recalled previously laid-off employees after the C4C program.
