Try and be more specific... what exactly are you taking? is it for personal usage or a multi cam production? D90 offers very very good video quality, but if you did zoom in, you dont have all those OIS, imabe stabilazers or very very poor sound quality I'd rather you get a canon legria for it, much for ergonomical... ... image stabilizer... good sound recoding.. superior zoom, though the apertuer and the sensor size is small...

School concert video taking is subjective to the deliverables. Pro quality......... dedicated pro video camera with the professional sound system attached. Amateur - Any camera can do. The handphone video also have been used before. (Seen many parents doing that.)

yup, get a dedicated videocam, same thing to videocam, eventhough it can capture still photo but the quality or reliability not 100%. Canon 5D mark II video definately superb but it cannot shoot video for longer period, if i not mistaken maksimum 12 minutes then it get hot already (correct me if i'm wrong)

i use my both hands and my head. when you zoom hold the camcorder with ur 2 hand and stuck the camcorder on ur head and use the viewfinder.. it really helps (i like those alil shaky footage like the ones in the 3 Bourne movies . If you're thinking of fluid moving shots i'd suggest you get one of those steadycams
