Oh, I must add, the -2 is the LCD brightness, not the picture control brightness, in case ppl got confused.

Thanks, bkhong for your further enlightening info. In the final analysis, all Nikon shooters can enjoy either version of the 70-200mm. Both are top notch lenses. But it seems now one is definitely even better. Go out and shoot great images with either one. Talk is over.

Talking about cons of third party battery grip ? When you're taking photos vertically, people might raise they eyebrow and give you a second look as the grip is not original and doesn't have the Nikon product sticker. *grins Other than that , couldn't think of any though.

If you're planning to buy a used one in great condition you're looking at RM5k+. A new one would cost slightly above RM6k. The VR2 costs around RM7k+ new (check out shashinki). Regards, Ralverd

D90 has built in motor while D5000 doesn't. D90 is semi-pro (I think but its above entry level) while D5000 is entry level. D90 is definitely better than D5000. If you have the money, get a D90. If not, the D5000 is pretty decent too. I'm currently using a D5000 but the D90 is definitely way better. This "D90 vs D5000 debate" has been posted a few times already. Do check it out next time ...
